SIPF Ghana

Building girl leaders for Ghana and Africa

Sisters in Peace Foundation (SIPF) – Ghana is another initiative inspired by the legacy of Ambassador Hajiya Habiba B. Bashir. The extension of her working visit to Ghana in 2010 aims to build the girls, women and youth from cradle to future opportunities and leadership; the foundation's main objective is to build a new set of women or female leaders empowered with the education and leadership skills required to make positive changes in Ghana and other African countries. Girls and youth from pro-poor communities will be adopted through an established process and provided access to quality education and soft skills to make them employable.

The foundation will build partnerships with the public and private sectors to leverage shared values aimed at bridging gender gaps and securing a bright future for girls, women and youth across the country. SIPF – Ghana is highly committed to educating and empowering girls, women and youth to break the cycle of poverty and build a brighter future for themselves and their families.
